COURSE STRUCTURE

Day 1: A full-day intensive face-to-face introductory session to coaching and solution-focused thinking. This days ends with all participants designing Action Plans to tackle current challenges

2 weeks to complete solution-focused Action Plan 1 and record outcomes

Day 2: A half-day group coaching sessions that follows up on the outcomes of the practical Action Plans and then addresses other challenges using the same process

2 weeks to complete solution-focused Action Plan and record outcomes

Day 3: A half-day group coaching sessions that follows up on the outcomes of the practical Action Plans and then addresses other challenges using the same process

2 weeks to complete solution-focused Action Plan and record outcomes

Day 4: A half-day group coaching sessions that follows up on the outcomes of the practical Action Plans including progress review, next steps action-planning

The course ends with the presentation of framed certificates for this British-Certified Leadership Development programme.

It is designed to engage participants and equip them with the skills to maximise the benefits of the collaborative activities in the rest of the workshop Building Rapport: The Foundation of Trust and Mutual Understanding Professional Communication Skills: Active Listening & Questioning Techniques Group Coaching for Collaboration Identifying Challenges & Opportunities shared across departments Working in cross-functional teams, define the key issues regarding one selected Challenge or Opportunity that impacts multiple departments Accurately establish the current state regarding the selected issue by Identifying all relevant data that is available plus any additional data that would be helpful to assess the current position COURSE OUTLINE - DAY 2 Define the Target State This is a creative session that draws out multiple perspectives across HoDs on how enhanced collaboration would benefit the overall process delivery. The group coaching process includes the following questions: Define the desired target state. How would things look if they were running at their best? What would improvement look like? What would the ideal state look like? Generating Solutions and Action Planning What needs to change? What are the options for experimenting to achieve improvement? What experiments could be designed to innovate through working collaboratively? Coaching to Commitment What are the action steps needed to test out the ideas? What is the first step needed?
